Jackson Blackwell

Jackson Blackwell is a Senior Advisor to the Climate Solutions Fund. He also is a graduate student at Princeton, pursuing an MPA in International Affairs and concentrating in Tech and Energy policy. 

Prior to Princeton, he helped lead the Arctic Encounter, an Alaska-based NGO, as Managing Director, advocating for U.S. policy leadership and engagement across the Arctic. Jackson has been involved in several political campaigns in Alaska, including serving as Political Director for the successful 2020 Ballot Measure 2 campaign, which established open primaries and ranked-choice voting across the state. He also previously worked with the Wilson Center’s Polar Institute, the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski.

Jackson graduated Magna Cum Laude with Distinguished Honors and degrees in Economics and Political Science from Boise State University as a Harry S. Truman Scholar.
